STEP 1: Review the volunteer positions and volunteer time slots, and know your availability prior to beginning the online registration process.

Volunteer slots are filled on a first come basis until all slots are filled. The time listed for each volunteer slot is the total hour commitment for that position. Most positions include both time prior to the start of the class and time after the conclusion of the class to assist with prep and clean-up. Room Host times also include time prior to the start of the lecture to assist the Presenters.

Special Note: In order to be assigned to a Station Instructor position, you must have received the Instructor Development Program (IDP) credential prior to attending Expo.

STEP 2: Download and read the Volunteer Waiver & Release prior to beginning the online registration process.

During the registration process you will be asked to acknowledge the SCAA Volunteer Waiver & Release by electronically signing and returning to Volunteers@scaa.org or faxing it to Renée Espinoza at 847.276.3362

STEP 3: Complete the "Volunteer Section" of the Online Registration Process. Easy step by step directions can be found here How to Register to Volunteer.

Online registration is open through Saturday, April 6th. After this date volunteers will have to register on-site beginning Monday, April 8th. When completing the volunteer registration, all volunteer slots that you select will be assigned to you. If a volunteer slot has been filled it will not show up as a choice during the registration process. You may want to have a back-up selection in the event your first choice has already been taken.

Special Note: Your registration profile may be edited at any time and positions may be added or removed. The editing process will remain open until close of business on March 22,, 2013. If you have any changes after that date, please email Renée Espinoza at Volunteers@scaa.org.
